Technics (テクニクス, Tekunikusu) is a Japanese audio brand established by Matsushita Electric (now Panasonic) in 1965... The SL-1200 Direct-drive Turntables introduced in 1972 are widely recognized as being major influences on the emergence of hip hop, turntablism & electronic music culture in the 1980s...

We had a great time here! We were warmly welcomed, and the hosts speak good English. A pleasant music selection makes the café unique and atmospheric. The coffee tastes excellent. We would love to come back. :)

super friendly place! i don’t drink alcohol, but i was looking through their records and the staff offered me water whilst i searched. they were also playing a sly and the family stone record throughout the bar (which is always a good sign.) i bought a record, and they gave me a sticker for free the ambience is also very welcoming and i didn’t feel overwhelmed or intimidated by staff and customers. they had lots of good jazz/latin records but most of their collection is japanese oldies if that’s your taste will definitely come again!

My son loves records and we like to find interesting little places when we travel. This place is a bar/cafe that has old vinyl records for sale. I drank beer while my son searched the bins. Very nice staff and they are always playing some mellow cool music. We didn't eat but I gave them all five stars anyway because they were super friendly to two foreigners who walked in off the street.

Cool little record bar. We only stopped in for one drink but the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would stop by if we came through Kawagoe again.

Neighborhood record store & cafe with live music performers in the evenings. The owner is always smiling and the menu has evolved over the years. He's currently making some interesting curry dishes for reasonable prices ¥1000 - ¥1300 and there is a full bar offering mixed drinks and beer. The records are curated along the lines of a select shop with a lot of well known Japanese artists. Additionally there are a few CDs and cassettes
